YOU ARE FABULOUS - 3/16

Good morning, all.  Happy Thursday.  First of all, thanks so much for reading this but stop for a moment, go to the nearest mirror and take a look at yourself.  Did you see messy hair, a few wrinkles and a face in anguish at having to do this exercise or did you see beyond that.

Today's quote is, "Do you know how amazing you are."  Looking in the mirror is one of the hardest things to do.  We don't see ourselves and how magnificent we are.  We're too busy focusing on the literal part of ourselves and what is visible to the outside world, not the whole package.  Everyone has gone through some sort of struggle, but you made it through and if you are still having a rough go, give yourself some time.  

Give yourself the credit you deserve.  Reach for those pom poms and shout out to the world, "I am AMAZING!"  (On the front lawn or in the living room is your choice!)

DIVINE TIMING

Good morning, everyone.  Happy Wednesday.  I never had a surprise party but if I did, I would want it to be exactly that, a surprise!  Parties aren't like life.  We want to know everything before it happens.  We want smooth sailing and happy endings.  No one wants all the stuff in between. The hard parts and difficulties (believe it or not) could actually be the fun part if you added one ingredient.  TRUST!

Today's quote is, "Knowing everything spoils the fun - trust in divine timing - that's all you need to know."  OMG, YES!!! But how hard is that?  I get it you guys, I really do but over and over again things have happened to me that I wanted to happen, just not when I THOUGHT I did.  

Did you get that word?  The one with the capital letters?  Thought, think, same thing.  You may think you want X, Y and Z last week, last month or last year but the Universe says, "Uh Uh, you ain't ready!"  Divine timing allows things to happen when the moment is just right.  Divine timing allows things to happen when it will benefit you the most.  

Have not hope, but faith.  Faith that what you want will show up when it is meant to.  For now, enjoy the ride as bumpy as it may be!

OWN IT

Good morning and happy Tuesday.  Did you know there are two kinds of doubt.  There are times we are full of doubt, and we question every move we make out of uncertainty.  But that's OK.  It's not strange or unusual.  It is human nature. The other kind of doubt I am referring to is doubt that doesn't belong to you and never did.  It is the doubt you were fed as a child from an unsupportive parent.  It is the doubt that makes you question yourself after talking to a so-called friend. 

Today's quote is, "If you doubt - let it be your doubt - own that doubt - not the doubt you were fed."  There are days when confidence oozes out of our pores and we feel as though we can fly and then there are those other days.  The ones where we can't make a decision and so we seek the advice of others.  STOP!!!  

There will be times when you are indeed indecisive, unsure and hesitant.  Here are some things you can do.  Sit with your uncertainty.  Meditate on your indecisiveness.  Embrace your hesitancy.  Do not share your uncertainty, tell the world of your indecisiveness or explain your hesitancy.  

When you doubt, make sure it's all yours.  Eventually you will be certain, decisive and confident.

ONLY LESSONS -

Good morning, everyone.  Happy Wednesday.  Very few of us are successful at anything from the start.  Ice skating looks so easy but the people on those skates fell hundreds of times before gliding gracefully.  Television chefs make cooking look clean and simple.  Why doesn't ours come out the way it looked on TV?  Try it again and it will be just right.

We learn from mistakes.  We learn what we should do so that mistakes aren't made again.  Today's quote is, "Failure is non-existent - lessons are the results."  Only if we keep making those same mistakes are we failing.  The above examples, those are simple things.  It really is OK if your dinner doesn't look like a restaurant presentation.  

Your life is another story.  Dating that same person again?  Didn't you learn.  Confiding in the one who you know can't keep a secret?  Didn't you learn.  We don't want to be in a bad relationship, nor do we want the intimate parts of our lives shared with the world.  I call these things experiences, but if your negative experiences are repeated one to many times you haven't learned your lesson.

Every experience is there to teach you something.  If it doesn't work out, you are not a failure.  If you learned something you are an absolute success!
