Good morning, everyone and happy Tuesday. Just because we meditate and take nature walks does not mean we don't suffer from moments of panic. The unexpected happens and we aren't prepared so what do we do. We freak out! What else is there to do. There is actually something you can do.
Today's quote is, "In the event of an emergency stop and take a breath." I'm not making light of an intense situation but when we are in panic mode, we cannot think straight, nor can we be of help to anyone. Aside from my mini-Reiki sessions that I post on social media, I also post a breathing exercise and let me tell you, it really helps.
We breathe every day. If we didn't, we wouldn't be here but what we don't do is take long, deep inhales and exhales. The ones that ground us when we are about to lose our minds. I never used to breathe and only started when I began posting. Now I do it all the time.
Take my advice and breathe. It will help you when someone is relying on you to be the calm one. In the event of an emergency, stop and take not just a breath, but a deep breath!
