Good morning, everyone. It is said that forgiveness sets you free. Just because it is said doesn't mean we are all in agreement. It is the polar opposite of holding a grudge yet some still find that to be preferable. Those that find it utterly impossible to move on from a past hurt may or may not hold a grudge, leaving forgiveness off the table.
Today's quote is, "Anything can be forgiven if you are willing." The key is the last word of the sentence. The key to being able to forgive anything is a willingness to do so. Aside from that, one must have an understanding of why things happened and who was involved. I will be candid with you. I'm not sure that anything can be forgiven whether you are willing or not.
I am not sure that forgiveness can be applied to every situation, event or occurrence. I'm not sure that whatever or whoever causes one such tremendous pain can ever be forgiven. One must ask oneself, what is a forgivable offense. Will forgiveness enable one to move forward.
This quote is black and white. The answer is either you can forgive anything,
or you can't but that is entirely up to you.
Have a beautiful day everyone! ~Love, Amy
