Good morning, everyone and happy Tuesday. There's this thing called assumptions. You know, when you think you know something based on, what. Based on the way society or our parents have programmed us. Am I guilty? You bet I am. Come on, you are too. How could we not assume things when we've been programmed our entire lives to feel a certain way about people, places and things from the time we were children.
Today's quote is, "What have you learned from your assumptions." I'll tell you what I learned from assumptions. I learned that people with tattoos are not low lives. I learned that people who don't watch the news aren't stupid. I learned that people who don't work actually do work.
These are the assumptions I grew up with. Just when you think your kids don't hear you, they get a tattoo with the words from a card you gave them. Watching the news these days causes nothing but stress and anxiety. We have enough of that in our own lives. It takes hard work to maintain a home and bring up children. While you might not get paid for it, it certainly counts as work.
Think of all the assumptions you've made in your life! Now you can release them!
