Good morning, everyone and happy Thursday. There are two types of people. There are those who do what they want without a care in the world nor a care what anyone thinks. Then there are the other ones. The people pleasers. The ones who can't make a move on their own for fear of offending someone and making sure their decisions are the right ones according to the thoughts of others. Oh boy. That's tiring.
Once you ask someone, "what do you think?" "Should I," etc. you are giving your power away but also diminishing your value as if your thoughts don't matter enough.
Today's quote is, "Validation comes from within - until then it is meaningless." When making decisions large or small, we want to make the right ones so instead of listening to our inner voice we seek an outside source. Unfortunately, not everyone has your best interest at heart.
If you know something doesn't feel right or seem right, listen to that voice in your head and that feeling in your gut. Validation comes from within and no where else.
