Good morning everyone. Have you made it outside yet? Have you greeted anyone or been greeted by anyone? If so I hope you gave a smile and received one as well. Who doesn't prefer that kind of greeting? A smile can brighten anyone's day because we never really know what anyone is thinking.
Today's quote, "Behind a façade can be happiness and joy but also pain and suffering - let kindness overrule judgement." The basis of this quote is that we should all be kind to one another for we never really know what's going on in someone's life. There will always be those who assume they do based purely on what they see and how it looks from the outside.
The so called perfect person with the so called perfect life. Who is that person and do they really exist? Somehow we think they do because of what they are wearing or what they are driving or where they live. All that is purely superficial. Has that person just endured an incredible loss?
Unless we ask with real sincerity how do we know? How can we judge what is behind a smile or a scowl. Many of us out there carry heavy burdens from our past and try to hide it while others simply can't. How hard is it to be kind, to smile and give an expression of encouragement?
Even if you are not in a great mood yourself, you will change it once you smile at someone else. Amazing how joy can be shared with a simple act of kindness!
